Maurischat & Melchor came together in fall of 2015 and are currently releasing their first CD of spirit-inspired songs and chants, ‘You Are Beautiful’.

Dave Maurischat is a Bay Area and Nashville songwriter and guitarist. Dave has been called a 'musical Swiss army knife'. He writes positive pop, rock and country songs about life, family and the One Spirit known by many names.

Iari Melchor is a singer, songwriter and actor who sees art as a powerful medium to inspire positive change in his community. Iari offers private one-on-one lessons in vocal-technique and style-coaching at the Iari Melchor Vocal Studio (IMVS) in downtown San Jose.

'You Are Beautiful' is a collection of original compositions combining pop, rock, folk, Kirtan chants, R&B and gospel into a soul-refreshing set. Dave's instrumental versatility and production spotlight Iari's smooth and stirring vocals perfectly. The end result is a memorable, inspirational and uplifting feast for the ears and heart.
