She called about an hour from the shoot and asked if she could bring over a playwright and poet named Thelonious Love whom she had met the day before so I could take a few photos of them together. I was instantly excited and nervous to welcome someone new to our photo session. When he arrived, I was stunned at his presence. There was a wise nobility about him and such a self awareness.
