简介
The Lost Album contains 11 tracks, all of them (accept ‚Absolute’) produced after Sven Väth’s Harthouse imprint had to close down in the late 90’s. Flügel & Wuttke decided to release all further productions on Klang Elektronik, a label that they were running together with Ata and Heiko MSO from Frankfurt since their early days when they called themselves Acid Jesus. The Lost Album marks an era between Alter Ego’s smasher ‚Betty Ford’ (2000) and their Über-Hit ‚Rocker’ (2005). It’s still Techno but with a certain sensibility for musical textures and influences reflected in Flügel & Wuttkes interest in the methods of dub or bands like Suicide. For some reason the album was never released at the time it was produced but some of the tracks were featured on several Klang Elektronik 12inches. Some others, for example ‚Revision’ or the Dub version of ‚Chocolate Box’ are now offered for the first time. The Lost Album finally gives you the full picture of how Flügel & Wuttke sounded like shortly before ‚Rocker’ and the impact of a genre soon to be called Electro House should change their career in a different direction.
