Dear friends, Let me tell you who these songs are for. They were all inspired by specific people. The guy who didn't mind letting me go. The hippie for whom I was head over heels. The cute blue-eyed boy who already had a lover. The man I was still in love with and probably always will be. And the friend who needed advice on life and love. But all of these songs are also written for myself, because I needed them. To remind myself that even though heartbreak hurts, change is good and necessary. To tell myself that it's okay to be sad, to have regrets, to know I was wrong. To remember the times I was excited about new crushes, and comfortable in life. And lastly, these songs are for all of you. I hope these words and melodies can give you optimism, a smile, or even a good cry!
