"Recalled to Life" is the culmination of two years worth of work. We started with "Clockwork" in the Winter of 2010 and had the rest of the songs written by May of 2011. The rest of the year was spent looking for a drummer that was skilled enough to play our music- a daunting task when you're from a town of 2,000 people. At the beginning of 2012, we were finally able to start playing shows, and a few months later we released a rough, four-song demo which was well received. But we knew that, if we planned to make an impression on people, we needed better production quality. So, starting in August of 2012, we began tracking drums for our full-length album in our guitarist's garage. The operation eventually moved to Morehead, Kentucky where three of us attend college, and the Winter of 2012 was a frantic rush to complete an album long overdue. Finally, on 2/26/13, The Observer was "Recalled to Life".
