Blackgate is a Power/Thrash Metal band out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have created a unique blend of classic thrash bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, and Iced Earth with the melodic, anthemic sounds of NWOBHM bands like Iron Maiden while still having a very modern sound. They released a self-titled debut EP in 2014 and their first full length album "Ronin" released in 2016.
