Phoenix Arizona’s The Nix have been rising out of the ashes this last year.

After a significant breakup of their last band (Babaluca), husband and wife Nick and Nichole Kizer find some inspiration in the dust that has settled. The release of their EP “Control” is a rebirth and new direction with much of their influences unchanged and untapped. However, The Nix sound wasn’t complete until they brought onboard a close musician friends Bryan Marscovetra (Factories) , Tony Sziklay (Tierre Firme) and Ashley Creighton. Together they create a magical escape both on stage and in the studio. “Contact” creates a vortex of great guitar pop that covers five decades of influence quite nicely in less than 25 minutes.
