Sean Giddings is an alternative artist whose debut EP stays close to his Louisville, KY roots with a bit of a European edge. As an indie folk rock artist, he is influenced heavily by British bands such as Mumford and Sons, Frightened Rabbit, and Guillemots, but cant help but retain a bit of the Americana that come from bands like The Shins and Death Cab for Cutie. After springing into this world in California, he was almost immediately re-situated in the east: Louisville, KY, to be exact. At the age of 16, he became heavily involved in his high school ministry and found himself playing in front of hundreds of people weekly. About this time, he formed a band under the name "The Coast". The Coast played quite a few shows in the Louisville area, as well as in Cincinnati and Bowling Green. This interest in the music industry led him to study in Nashville for 4 years and ultimately to record his debut EP, The Morning Greys. The Morning Greys is an album about moving on. It is about the pain of loss, the excitement of new love, and the uncertainty of an unwritten life.
