Simply compressing music would make it sound artificial and too much like cheap pop music. We use every tool in an audio engineers tool box to custom edit every unique piece of music, editing the overall volume carefully to maintain a natural listening experience while balancing passages that are either too loud for safe driving or too soft to be audible over engine and road noise.
