James Lee Stanley produced Peter Tork's solo CD, STranger Things Have Happened. Peter wanted to do an acoustic tour to support the release of the CD. He asked James to go with him. They worked up a couple of tunes to do together, which thru the course of the tour became ten songs. The fans clamored for a CD of the two of them doing those songs and presto! Two Man Band was born. It's two old friends (since the 60's) just playing and singing live in the studio, no overdubs, no trickery, just music. I think you might like it.
