25 years is a long time to not do something that was so much part of your life, if not your whole life, when you were doing it. But, as they say ... 'Life is what Happens When You're Making Other Plans' ... I think John Lennon said that ... Anyway Life happened to me & some two & a half decades later it truly had the better of me. My children recognised this & could see I was suffering ... so they came up with a scheme to make me 'ME' again. They decided I needed music again & suggested they buy me a new guitar. I protested of course (denial is strong in this family) & said OK ... this is the guitar I want (they'd never be able to afford it hahahaha ... I thought) ... but they did. Now full of a happy kind of guilt I started playing again & almost immediately wrote the riff that would become the basis of 'The Mountain You Build'. I started doing regular Open Mic Nights, wrote a few more songs ... & well here we are ... enjoy.
