1927 Paris France we see a hung over young girl awaking from a drowsy state of consciousness on a chaise lounge in her flat, she rises and stumbles to the window, as she draws back the drapes in the window we see it is a foggy gray and damp day. She pulls a pair of glasses from her pocket and sees a tall dark vague looking man crossing to the other side of the street and then he disappears into the fog.
