It's not exactly latin, it's not really jazz....it's street level music from NYC! All original music this time around with more of a Puerto Rican flavor than our first recording. Leader, trumpeter and composer Steve Gluzband spent 20 years with Ray Barretto and Johnny Pacheco, has a Grammy with Celia Cruz and went double paltinum with the Talking Heads. All told he appears on over 400 recordings. On this second self produced CD/LP all the selections are original music written by Gluzband.. Some of it makes you want to dance, some makes you think you're at a party, or watching a scene from a movie, but it's all coming from the New York streets.
