Hello, Seattle is a female fronted, five-piece alternative pop rock band based in New York. Consequence of coincidence, guitarist/songwriter Amy Maxwell collaborated with lead singer Kim Berg during an Audio Production class at SUNY Oneonta in the Fall of 2011. Needless to say, the two formed a unique creative bond, quickly developing into a full band. Hello, Seattle has established full-time members Kimberly Berg on lead vocals, Amy Maxwell on guitar and backing vocals, Frank Cicciarello on bass, Jason Psanis on keys, and Andrew Platt on drums. Together, the band crafts diverse original compositions fronted by Berg's astounding vocal talent. With a spectrum of influence ranging from Alanis Morissette to Tegan and Sara, Hello, Seattle refuses to rest within the confines of ordinary genre limitations. Alternatively, the group offers a fresh take on contemporary songwriting with impressionable hooks, unique arrangements, and rhythmic complexity. Alongside their musical creativity, Hello, Seattle presents relatable themes of love, heartbreak, and the perpetual search for meaning behind it all.
