Scarabino is an Alternative/Prog Rock band based out of Long Island, New York. Originally conceived as a solo project by lead singer Michael Scarabino, it turned into a collaborative project with Ajay Hosking after the two met at a party and bonded over their shared musical interests. In the summer of 2015, Scarabino signed with Werner Records and the two recorded their debut EP "Unreckoned Reality," at Firehouse Studios in Babylon, NY. The record was later released in April of 2016. After the release of “Unreckoned Reality,” Michael and Ajay were still looking to round out their sound, and found their musical match in drummer Juliana Pitto. The trio bonded over their common passions, mutual inspirations, and vision to express their unique perspective in music. With the complete lineup, Scarabino began to establish themselves in the Long Island music scene with their Unreckoned Summer Series, and have performed with artists like Vista, Young Harbor, Transience, and Part Time Bear.
