Miroque is a Japanese musician from Tokyo, Japan who is representative of the onkyo (sound echo, electronic, ambient) music genre. Siro Cocoon is a collection of two CDs—Siro and Cocoon—that were released early in her career on the Cacha*mai record label. It’s a wonderful introduction if you haven’t heard her music before. Miroque’s musical structures are abstract and free while the tonal qualities are innocent with hints of meditative feeling.
