Hello to everybody! Well, my new album, or rather our new album is ended. We recorded at the end of August the last grips while we had begun the first recordings in January... The road was long but very pleasant. I liked recording this record because this time, I was not alone but surrounded by three musicians really cool and happy to play. And for me the creative process, the fact of being in the action gives me a lot of pleasure... It will thus be an album of FANDOR and The Supernormals because the SUPERNORMAL group widely participated in the recording (with BEN in the bass, MATT to the battery(drum kit) and to the samples and CECIL in electric guitars and arrangements).His title, "Mon corps est une machine", is directly bound in our to the Live experiencesof 2008, 2009 and 2010 which were very intense for me. "Mon corps est une machine" a piece of the album is also which gets loose from the others, by its more experimental, internal side and by its atmospheres very close in ENNIO MORRICONE's universe... The rest of the record consists of 11 more direct pop songs (in the VELVET UNDERGROUND on "Winchester") and organic (in the PIXIES on "On se tient") even ballads in JESUS AND MARY CHAIN on " I' m old ". But do-it-yourself still clock their nose here and there ("Cent fois"" and its electros arrangements). To note also an interlude zarbi which opens the album... The listening is playful because this CD consists of songs (I hope) melodic and immediate... Tackled issues turn around the cinema ( "Mon corps est une machine", "Winchester","En noir et blanc", "Sans soucis"), of the time(weather) which passes ( " I' m old " "Je n'ai rien appris") And affairs... More rock and noisy than the previous FANDOR who were very tinkered... This record(, certainly, still contains of fiddles , but it is more "live, dynamic and varied. We indeed pass of ballads desert as " I' m old " in titles much harder as "Winchester"... Thanks to Philippe Roure for this very film dress handkerchief, consisted of photos evoking the desert, the road movie, but also the men(people), the bodies, slices of life... Thanks to the duet shock Laurent and Michel of the tremendous label Z and record Zoe (but whom of Michel or Laurent is Z and who is Zoé???) SEE YOU and good listening Fandor.
