Mamyth is a surprising fusion of folk and electronic music with spices of metal and, perhaps, magical movie soundtracks. It is often referred as 'digifolk' though an accurate specification is quite challenging to find. Honouring Finno-Ugric folk instruments in the middle of progressive drums, percussions and synthesizers, Mamyth brings together many different musical worlds both traditional and modern, binding them seamlessly together.

Founded by former Ensiferum and Finntroll artists Meiju Enho and Samuel 'Beast Dominator' Ruotsalainen, Mamyth combines huge and rich sets of rhythms, bass lines, folk instruments and multiharmony singing, creating an unique sound scenery to trigger listeners' imagination.
