简介
Eminent, Project Independent's featured artist for the year 2009, submitted Death Of The Pilgrim to promote across the United States. It took Eminent six months to record, two months to produce, but more importantly a combined six years to write. As the band matured, you can clearly hear it in the music the different stages and influences that went through their heads while coming up with the material. Eminent stubbornly writes and re-writes the music until it is absolutely perfect by their standards. With every member being a unique and talented musician, the band formed a new type of metal that will satisfy everyone and anyone who listens to their songs. This multicultural band has had ethnic influences as well. Andrew Movsissian (guitar), Hovak Alaverdyan (guitar) and Vahe Shahinian (bass) are from Armenia, Bronic Bednarek (vocals) is from South Africa, and Lonny Pasillas (drums) is Mexican/American. Band Bio: Tired of music in the local scene Eminent started in 2004 with Vahe Shahinian on bass, Emin Abdalian on vocals, Andrew Movsessian on guitars and Daniel Paraguez on guitar. First named Dark Reign they practiced without a drummer for half a year until finding Fabi Flores. The band played local shows around La Crescenta and a year after forming the band, Dark Reign released their first demo - dubbed Demo 2005. After having 4 songs on the demo and 4 different genres, the band took in constructive criticizm and narrowed the styles down to one, while being inactive on the scene but writing new material. The band then took a lineup change, replacing Fabi Flores with Lonny Pasillas, and Daniel Paraguez with John-Paul Fernandes. The band also changed its name from Dark Reign to Eminent. Eminent shortly recorded its second Demo - dubbed Demo 2008. They played various shows around LA and won a national battle of the bands which was determined by judges and voting from fans. Eminent was required now to have a full length CD. The recording process was slowed down because of yet another lineup change. JP was let go and Emin also left. Eminent soon found Hovak Allaverdyan and Bronic Bednarek on guitar and vocals, respectfully. The CD was finished and dubbed Death of the Pilgrim, releasing on their first national tour which will started in the Fall of 2009. Site: www.myspace.com/metaleminent
