From starting, and hosting an open-mic night at a small coffee shop, to opening up for national acts, playing in front of thousands of people, and performing shows across the United States, the artist known as Michael Rodgers, embraces all that is original music.

Michael plays mainly lead/rhythm guitar, but is also a vocalist, pianist, and dabbles with a little bass and drums as well. His many artistic and musical influences, combined with an undying passion for music and creativity, give him a sound that is in a league of its own. Michael Rodgers continues to write new music, perform new venues, record in the studio, and remains involved in benefit shows and projects that support the local community, as well as supporting local artists.

Michael Rodgers has a delicious blend of music and styles, ranging from soul, funk, reggae, rock, R & B, jazz, and much more! His influences range from such artists as Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Santana, Jerry Garcia, John Scofield, Lotus, STS9, Bluetech, Ott, Shpongle, Daft Punk, and MANY more!

Thus far, Michael Rodgers has performed at a WIDE VARIETY of venues, from his hometown in Indiana, and other states including Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Arkansas, and recently in his new home in California! One could find him rockin’ out at a music festival, or even doing fund-raisers, weddings, private parties, and everything in between. Michael continues to develop and grow as an artist, and breaks down the boundaries of what we refer to as ‘musical genres’.
