Human Conditions is a DIY project by Candy Lee, self-recorded and produced in her own home. It features a variety of instruments and musicians, from strings to saxophone, to electric guitar, to pedal steel. Somewhere in between studio polished and low-fi, the album has a feel of a handcrafted gift- thoughtful, intricate, and full of hard work and love. It is a musically diverse exploration of introspective lyrics, with entrancing vocal melodies and richly layered sweeping vocal harmonies.
