简介
Music for Stationary Trilobites is a deeply textured, ambient, instrumental work that briefly recounts the time during which some of the earliest forms of life existed, spanning from the Precambrian supereon to the Triassic period. As the stereo rendition of the 10 channel sound installation featured in the Burgess Shale exhibit at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Canada, it provides a unique listening experience that is inspired by the sonic and compositional work of artists like Karleinz Stockhausen, Brian Eno, Philip Glass, and Daniel Lanois. The album was written and produced by Jon Martin in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and mastered by Matthew Agoglia at Masterdisk in New York. For more information visit www.theweathermachine.com.
