What started out as a typical musical group turned into more of a first generation computer driven digital sound based ensemble. After Touch, the band and brainchild of Walter Dawkins and Donald Williams didn’t have problems with the typical musical group, it was that they were looking for something new and different, and things were changing fast in the early nineties. Trying to make music in the Music Industry has never been easy, and being in the 90’s trying to repeat what thousands of others people have accomplished and be innovative at is no simple process. The computer age was becoming hot and heavy on the personal level, new gadgets that make all types of sounds at the push of a button. Repeated lines and musical phrases freed up the performer to create literally like know other time in the music making business. But all this isn’t as easy as it sounds. There still was a matter of accomplishment and that means expertise, and need I say more. But Walter and I did happen to hammer out a few musical accomplishments from our years of hard work. This collection has been issued which brings home just what we were up to back then. After Touch Then and Now, you’ll get an insight of just what we were doing with contemporary sounds, and what were doing now within the new millennium.

Special note, tract 5, What Is Cool, features Ron Ellison of the Defonics fame on vocals, I’m sure you can recognize the distinctive timber in his voice. This song was a last minute input and Ron will be fully featured on the next CD by Street Productions.
