Out of New York’s all night bars and shifty rock clubs comes Felony Bebop Club. Playing their style of Maximum Rhythm and Blues the band has captured the ears and rears of the dance crazy party people. Short, fast, and stupid fun, FBC (or “The Club” as the kids call them), shake out a formidably funky set. Their debut CD, “76 and Single” is an excellent reflection of their high energy shows. Recorded over the course of three weeks, the CD reflects the tempos and themes of living in the city. Revved up guitars, driving drums, thumping bass, and the Brooklyn-ess four part vocals, give “The Club” an amazingly original garage rock sound.
