Dr. Vazquez obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, writing her dissertation in the area of healing and cultural heritage. She also has a Master of Arts degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Wyoming. She also received certifications as a Spiritual Counselor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Dr. Vazquez has facilitated meditation groups using guided imagery and relaxation exercises for many years, working with a variety of populations including those living with cancer, diabetes, chronic illness and trauma. Her interests in psychoneuroimmunology and the wholeness perspective have inspired her to create these relaxation meditations to aid other in their healing.
