"Iibigin Ka" means, "Will Love You" in the Tagalog language. I chose this for my album title because I know that while you are listening to each track, you will feel loved. The first track, "Nasaan Na Ang Puso Mo", was the song that made it big in the late 90's when first interpreted by Philippine pop star/actress, Pops Fernandez, for her mini drama series: "Nagmamahal Pa Rin Sa Yo". The lyrics entail a true story about a married couple, who later separated because of the husband's infidelity. I am honored that this was chosen as the theme song for the soap opera, therefore I chose to re-record this song for my own album. A couple more tracks also had been previously released by other top artists in the Philippines: "Labis Na Pagmamahal" interpreted by Rockstar II, and "May Ligaya Pa Ba" by Lani Misalucha. I feel blessed and honored to have been given the chance to write songs for such amazing artists in the Philippines. Also on this album, I covered one song: "Only Me And You" by Vehnee Saturno and Tito Cayamanda, just because it was one of my favorite OPMs in the 90's. All of the tracks are songs inspired by real life stories from people I love and care for, and I hope this album touches your heart as much as it has touched mine. Thank you! Maramimg salamat!
