This is a story of aggression and pride, vulnerability and pain, understanding and healing. “Sound Mirrors” is the A-side of Yaka’s highly-anticipated two-part album: “Sound Mirrors Mirror Sounds”. Drawing inspirations from Shanghai, NYC, Atlanta, and Chengdu’s underground scenes, and samples taken from the 60s to 00s Chinese music, “Sound Mirrors” projects Yaka’s double-sided spiritual world into a soulful blend of Alternative Hip-Hop, Rage, and D&B music.

“声反射镜”是一个关于敌对与傲慢，脆弱与痛苦，理解与疗愈的故事，也是 Yaka 的双面专辑“声反射镜反射声”的第一部分。Yaka 从自己参与过的上海、纽约、亚特兰大、成都等城市的地下音乐场景，和六十年代至千禧年间的华语音乐采样中汲取灵感，通过“声镜”投射自己的灵魂世界使其融入进 Alternative Hip-Hop, Rage, Drum & Bass 等不同曲风的音乐中。
