'Roest is about textures. I went to art school for a year. I wanted to do DTP but they made me paint and draw for a whole year and I never saw a computer in class. I learned about textures though. It was really fascinating to learn to look at things from a graphical point of view. Art and beauty are everywhere around us. You just have to learn to look for it. Its the same with sound I feel.'
