LINDA SMITH has been writing and recording her songs at home on various multitrack machines since 1986. Part of the first wave of home tapers, LINDA SMITH rarely performs live. She has released music on such indie labels as HARRIET, SLUMBERLAND, FEEL GOOD ALL OVER, SHRIMPER, and her own PREFERENCE label over the years. 'Emily's House' is her most recent collection of songs.
