"U Ntso Koatile Le Hons Tje?" explores the struggle of artists to express their authentic cultural identity in a world where stereotypes and norms restrict them. The theme of "Africanacity" has grown prominent in contemporary art, but some artists feel compelled to conform to certain stereotypes & tropes. The project aims to create a "3rd space" allowing for a fresh perspective on reconstructing cultural heritage. The project embodies a sense of agency and a desire to reshape cultural paradigms, promoting dialogue and fostering a more harmonious and inclusive sound to world.
