The Flying Saucers Bio Although they cover a wide variety of styles, the Flying Saucers are primarily an original music band that plays a fusion of blues, r&b, jazz, and rock. The Flying Saucers were formed unofficially in April , 2006, and started work on their first two cds in October, 2008.The two cds, Blue Bluer Bluest( blues jazz) and "Landed Blendin’ In"( modern jazz blues rock mix)are to be released in May, 2009, and will soon be in local music stores and on line with CD Baby. There will also be a book entitled “The Flying Saucers” in June, 2009. The band features bassist Jason Cashon, keyboard and lead guitarist P.M. Brown, Lead guitarist and Harmonical player Roz Tate, Lead guitarist and harmonica player Dale Cashon, and drummer John Hayes. All in the band contribute to the vocals.
