This album came from the souls of three very close friends that love playing music. The music and lyrical content are simply feelings recorded in the form of music and vocals. Mike, Ryan, and Doug had played music in various other group situations through the years but not collectively as one group. Always friends personally and in the same musical circle of friends, it only made sense for them to get together and play. Though all three of them had played in cover bands through the years, (who hasn't?) their real roots of growing up with music in their lives was creating their own music. Once they got together and played, it was fun and easy. It was like instantly speaking the same foreign language. There were no egos. There was a lot of laughing and there was a lot of creative juices flowing.
