'Get Over It' is a testament of tough love from friend to friend, or maybe just looking in the mirror... The drawings on the CD artwork are inspired by 'Free' which seeks that 'stop the world time and place' often craved for... 'I Miss You' reflects on good times had with absent friends, and a sense that they will meet again... 'Warrior Woman' is Every Woman... 'I Got You Out Of My Head' - that great feeling of finally being free from a particular attachment... The soul of this music is touched by artists like Stevie Wonder, Minnie Ripperton, Sergio Mendes, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Joni Mitchell, Donny Hathaway, and the Carpenters' vocal harmonies. It is a truly moving collection of songs.
