...And Iapetus, the son of Uranus and Gaia, and who was the brother to Kronos, Oceanus, Tethy, etc., took to wife Clymene, daughter of Oceanus, and she bare him the Titans, Atlas, Menoetius, Epimetheus, whose name means after-thought, and the cleaver Prometheus. In some accounts, Prometheus was transferred to Earth, by Zeus, with his brothers to create mankind...but Epimetheus did not think on what Prometheus had said to him, bidding him never take a gift of Olympian Zeus, but to send it back for fear it might prove to be something harmful to men. But he took the gift, and afterwards when the thing was already his , he understood and was forever after deeply sorrowful and within, his soul mourned...and the woman, Pandora, took off the great lid of the jar with her hands and scattered all ills, toil and heavy sickness which bring the fates (Klotho, Lachesis, and Atropos) who punish the transgressions of both, gods and men...and she used her deceitful nature of lies and crafty words clothed in mist at the will of loud thundering Zeus, causing sorrow and mischief to men, for the gods kept hidden from men, (fire, the divine spark of consciousness) the means of life, and Prometheus stole this fire, which angered Zeus, when he saw mankind had been endowed with it. And the beautiful Pandora remained true to her calling, for only hope remained therein an unbreakable home within under the rim of the jar, and did not fly out at the door. But the rest, the countless plagues, wander among men for the curse (i.e., the real truth to the myth was this), the separation of the duel principle was made presenting two opposites, the separation of the androgyny condition, for nature evaded the desired result by the production of a new being, by which the natural longing to recover this lost Androgynous Hermaphrodite state was and is forever being cheated. It is by this tantalizing process of a continued curse that nature lives spreading over the whole earth; and like the power seeking Asuras of Hinduism, the Titans, too, as forces of the first Golden Age of the World are denounced as both overbearing and iniquitious. For these forces are at the center of the "Babylonian Creation Epic", "Enuma elish", the children of Apsu and Tiamat, who crowded in between their parents, astronomically indicating this confusion, for they were the sons whom Uranus begot, according to Hesiod in his Theogony, who ascribed all these uynexpiable crimes to the original children of Heaven, as they surged back and forth; strainers, disturbing Tiamat, until error and confusion ensued and there was "War in Heaven"..."Babylon has Fallen"...and all the careless dancers cry "Pandora Blues", as they drown in her sea ...of despair...
