This album exemplifies the Freedom that one can find in jesus Christ. This project was inspired by series of events that took place in my life at the beginning of 2012. I believe that I was forced to deal with the man I thought I was and the man I needed to be. I began composing some 70 songs that all dealt with adjusting my viewpoint on how I really was living my life and the fruit that my life is really producing for Christ. I became more driven by a need to share the good news of Jesus Christ so I fused music that I had been influenced by and the gospel message into an EP about freedom. The opening verse on the Freedom Intro sung by Houston artist Bel-Ami says "Freedom is not doing whatever you want to, rather its having the power to do so and choosing not to". I believe God called us all to a specific purpose but until we evaluate how we are really living our lives with how God wants us to live our lives, we can't have true freedom. So I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this gift of music and life and for the good times and the bad times. To my mother for her continued love and support from when I had my first pair of sticks until now I love you mom. My father who is in heaven looking down with great joy, your legacy pushed us all forward to be better men. To my two anchors Mike and Julian, if ya'll had not been the best older brothers ever I would not have done it thanks for the lessons in life my entire life. My uncles, aunts, cousins, and my 3 beautiful nieces and the most positive and uplifting sis-in-love one could ever ask for THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT. Bel-Ami for your willing spirt and heart, Lee-Lonn for your loyalty and your truthfulness (all the way back to Moores), and Daron Garrett for your spirit of worship and peace that travels with you where ever you go. You guys sounded amazing. I especially want to say to those who I hurt while I was in a "Prodigal Son" state I sincerely apologize and want you all to know how much I love you and appreciate you for maintaining with me or having the wisdom to let me alone so God could deal with me.
