In 2014 Belgian bass player Christophe Devisscher received an invitation to present a new project at the Jazz Station (Brussels, Belgium). Together with Frank Deruytter (saxophone), Christian Mendoza (piano) and Dré Pallemaerts (drums) he browsed through his repertoire written over the years. Christophe also composed new material for the band. This resulted in a highly personal project of a powerful musician who waited a long time to form a band under his name. With "A Fisherman's Tale" Christophe Devisscher releases an album with an impressive line-up, a distinct colour sound and a variety of musical dialogues.
