Walking Wounded are a 5-piece band from pre-Hipster Hackney - when East London's Hackney was a haven for the world's impoverished and huddled masses rather than a ghetto for fixed wheel bike riding, skinny jeans wearing, bearded tattooed hipsters drinking over-priced coffee in bijou cafe´s - playing cutting edge original material in a myriad of styles: from Punk to Arabic to Balkan, Celtic to Reggae, Ska to Rock (and more), featuring accordion, harmonica, guitar, bass, percussion and vocals. Don't be fooled, despite the eclecticism they retain a distinctive sound that makes them instantly recognisable and they rock with an energy many a completely electric band would envy.
