"Raining on the Sunshine" is the debut solo album released by New Orleans native, Mark "Byrdawg" Dillon. Produced by guitar extraordinaire Brian Stoltz, this album has a lot of heart and soul, a lot of which draws directly from a period in Byrdawg's life that turned his world upside down. With his raspy soultry vocal delivery and Stoltz's genius sonic touch, a masterful album, soon to be a New Orleans favorite, was created. Byrdawg had many friends come together to help him make this beautifly crafted album, Brian Stoltz, George Porter Jr., Nick Daniels III, Jimmy Messa, and Harrell "Boomer" Bosarge.
