Rance Norton has been appearing on Texas Country Music shows since before his teenage years. He worked many of the "Texas Opry" circuit shows before graduating to the Texas Dance Halls. After forming his own band after graduating from Baylor University, Rance Norton began working dances and shows that featured traditional Country Music. He even took his show to Scotland and Ireland. This project reveals a new maturity which also shows in his writing, judging by the six original compositions on this mini-album. He had often written during the days on the road and decided to work on a new sound with these self compositions and a little more varied sound. It is a mixture of the Texas Country Music of the day and the Traditional Country that he grew up with in Central Texas.
