Igor Pasaplj was born in Zagreb, Croatia, 1981. At the beginning of the war in 1991 he moved to Prijedor, Bosnia & Herzegovina, where he picked up the guitar. In 2002 he was admitted to the Academy of Arts of Banja Luka. After gigs with various bands and many solo performances in the Balcan region Igor joined the progressive metal band Heaven Rain as leading guitarist in 2006.

Igor Paspalj achieved the 13th place in the rock guitar competition Guitar Idol 2009. The Jury called his work “A gloriously over the top dramatic and film score type blend of neo classical high emotion with great early Yngwie style playing – superb stuff… “
