Included on Seattle Holiday is Jackson Berkey's treble voice work, God Be In My Head. Jackson first contacted Jerome following the Seattle Girls' Choir performance at the National American Choral Director's choral convention in San Diego in 1992. Since that time, the composer has set many of his works for treble chorus, always with the sound of the Seattle Girls' Choir in mind. Plans are currently underway for this wonderful treble choir to release two new recordings with SDGRecords: One release, the Pergolesi Stabat Mater and Britten Missa Brevis. And the second? An entire album of Jackson's works for treble chorus! Seattle Holiday is guaranteed to be a wonderful addition to your choral library.
