"A Better Way" was written and recorded in a small cabin in the Rockies of Colorado at 8350 Ft. There had been a gigantic snow storm for a couple of days and I was snowed in with 31/2 feet of snow. I remember as I was finishing writing the song the morning was just starting and the sky was big and orange and red and yellow. I recorded using LOGIC 9. I used a custom GRACE Mic Pre and a Manley Compressor. I sang through a U-87. The piano was a concoction of my digital needs. I added strings then started the mix. It was finished by the end of the day. The whole thing was magic like its supposed to be,
