I grew up listening to these songs--either ones that I listened to my father play on the piano or ones that he liked to listen to. These are for solo guitar which is mostly how I play these days. I like to incorporate lots of elements in what I am playing. The guitar is actually a percussion instrument, so I use "chucks" and strums to provide the percussion. The melody and harmony are woven together kind of like what a piano player does only I can't separate out my left and right hands like they do! And this is all straight ahead jazz. Its just what I like to listen to, and what I like to play.
