Being an island and surrounded by the ocean it is no wonder that the sea plays an important part in the lives of everyone who lives in Newfoundland. Along with all the good that comes from the sea there is also tragedy. Our seafaring men & women spend their lives making a living from the sea and these songs represent topics that are always prevalent in our everyday lives.
