The making of Good to the Last Drop has spanned three generations of No Southern Accent. From the initial stages of musical arrangement to recording in closets and studios to what you will hear on these tracks, this album has been quite a journey. While the challenges inherent in this album’s development caused a delay in production, it allowed so many more talented vocalists to be a part of it, lending their creativity, inspiration, and voices to this project. Good to the last Drop features songs from three of our most recent award-winning sets performed for the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella. Each set bears a theme, around which each song is centered in order to tell a story. These stories dealt with destruction, desperation, and ultimately redemption and hope. Each member of our group, former and current, personally connects to the songs featured on this album, but we know that these themes are universal and hope that you will share in their meaningfulness.
