With his new album Nowhere, Timo Mitsch, also known as VARS, presents a work that delves into the emotional and existential questions of our time. Created during a period of upheaval—at a time when the pandemic had just begun to fade and personal challenges had to be overcome— Nowhere reflects a sense of disorientation, the desire for a fresh start, and the search for a new path in life. Nowhere consists of nine tracks, shaped by Mitsch's diverse musical background and his continuous development as an artist. The music is deeply rooted in the electronic soundscape, yet the approach to songwriting is strongly oriented toward the structure and emotionality of pop music, without losing his unique musical character.
