My style is represented by "Winter's Child," but my overall style is much more expansive. "Winter's Child" is, in fact, one of seventeen original songs on my first solo piano album, "Classically Blue," which is also for sale. My most profound influences are Frederic Chopin, Vladimir Horowitz, Maurizio Pollini, Van Cliburn, Erroll Garner, Dave Brubeck, George Gershwin, Cat Stevens, Ahmad Jamal, Vince Gauraldi, and Thelonious Monk. Others are André Previn, Oscar Peterson, Les McCann, Van Morrison, and, most recently, Jacques Loussier. I also recored my original, "Warrior Sunrise" (9th song), on the album, "Reflections, a New Life," by Eric Hererra, a Native American flutist who is a good friend of mine, found at ManyWindsMusic.com.
