Two obscure but talented doo-wop harmony groups that recorded with producer Bob Bertram (of 'Susie Darlin’' by Robin Luke fame) for his Hawaii-based International label in the late 1950s. The Lucky Charms, led by lead singer Ira Johnson, were in the Navy, stationed in Hawaii, when they linked up with Bertram. The Serenaders remain unknowns, recording only the two songs here in their brief career.
