The Naked are an alternative indie rock band founded and fronted by Niles Thomas – whom the press are calling "The man with the velvet voice". The band's lyrics are being noted as melancholic, philosophical, thought-provoking and spiritual, and play right into their sonic soundscape with heartfelt delivery and performance. There are those that want to compare them to the likes of U2, Arctic Monkeys, The National, Franz Ferdinand and Coldplay, respectfully, but The Naked have definitely found their own unique sound and carving a name for themselves – and standing on their own ground.
