This South Florida based worship leader and Christian recording artist is taking it to the next level with his self-titled debut studio project. Ushering listeners into the presence of God, Tony's powerful soaring vocals transcend the listening experience into a vertical worship experience and that's exactly what he has set out to do. Partnering with good friends John Katina (The Katinas) and Dove Award winning producer Kenne Belle, Tony LeBron presents a refreshing album with smooth melodies and inspiring lyrics. Songs such as "Renew Me" (Bernie Herms & Stephanie Lewis) and "Letting Go" (James Katina) remind the listener to let go of old patterns and walk in the newness that Christ gives. "I am Free" (Ross Parsley) is an anthem to the freedom found in walking daily with Christ. Tony's prayer is that "wherever one may be while listening to this record; at home, in the car, at work or at the beach, that one would be encouraged to serve Christ deeper, to obey Christ's commands with more fervor, to love greater and to live freer." The call to lead others into God's presence isn't a new calling for Tony. Born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, the 2nd of four children, Tony grew up attending a small Spanish church where he was introduced to the traditional music of the islands that represented his Puerto Rican heritage, music that would later impact his life so powerfully. At the age of ten, Tony sang his first solo, "He's Still Working on Me" and by the age of 15 was active in his church as a Worship Leader. After graduating high school Tony attended Southeastern University, performing with premier musical group Joy as well as leading the Campus Worship Choir. It was during his time there that he was introduced to Roger Breland and touring musical group TRUTH of which he went on to be a part of the 2003 Farewell Tour. Following his time in TRUTH, Tony moved to Nashville where he sang background vocals for Female Vocalist of the Year, Natalie Grant, toured with the Promise Keeper Praise Team, and partnered with a broad range of nationally acclaimed artists such as Anthony Evans, Melissa Greene (Avalon), The Katinas and others. He has also spent time ministering along side Jeanne Mayo during her National Youth Leaders Convention and most recently joined Dr. Jonathan Burnham at Boca Raton Community church as the minister of Music. Tony's passion for worship has involved him in outreach and missions projects with World Help, visiting such countries as India, Costa Rica, Poland and Peru. It was on one of those trips that Tony's world reached a turning point. "I'll never forget seeing the faces of the children; children that had nothing. I so desperately wanted to go back to the states sell everything I owned and return and give them the profits. Then I realized that even the wealthiest people in the world are miserable. Money is not the answer. The only thing that I could give them that would really make a difference was to share with them the Love of Christ. Love that never fails, Love that never disappoints, Love that does not abandon, Love that is forever; Love that Saves! I knew then that I wanted to spend the rest of my life sharing the Love of Christ, through whatever means possible." This is the means and this is the time.
